Position Summary:
Manages, directs and oversees all accounts receivable functions of Johnson County Mental Health Center. Provides supervision of billing and intake staff, assuring that Center procedures are followed in setting fees, billings and application of payments. Reviews third party announcements and assures that billing requirements are communicated and updated. Researches and provides information on new service reimbursements and compliance issues.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance is required. A minimum of 2 years experience as a health insurance supervisor, medical office or hospital business manager and 2 years experience with contract negotiations with third-party payors with an emphasis on Medicaid and Medicare vendors are also required. Relevant experience may be substituted for degree.
